Awards Fashion

This is one of my favorite times of year. Today, the Golden Globe awards was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. It is always fun to critic the best and worst fashion trends. As the social “The Social Network” cleaned up awards, I was imagining which gown I would wear, if I had to give a 45 second speech.

I was surprised on Natalie Portman dress selection, a strapless Viktor & Rolf. Especially, since she has a contract with Dior. Not only did Portman had an fabulous performance in the “ Black Swan,”  but she helped inspire new fashion trends. Most critics thought Portman, who is expecting her first child this summer, would wear Dior or Rodarte Portman looked cheery and youthful in this dress.

I loved  Jennifer Love Hewitt’s dress. She wore a  I loved Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Romona Keveza gown. Although it looked more like it could be a wedding dress.

What was Helena Bonham Carter thinking when she put on this dress. She isn’t even wearing matching shoes. E! snapped this photo of her leaving her limo in a stiff froth pinned with black netting.
